Jake is originally from Cudahy, Wisconsin and went to Saint Thomas More high school ('15). He then went to St. Cloud State to play football for four years while majoring in Recreation and Sports Management. He went on to graduate in 2019 and worked as a graduate assistant football coach at St. Cloud State in 2019. His most recent stop was as an assistant football coach at Carroll University in 2021.
