Duvalier Johnson is a Park Hill, Colorado native that has been a part of Prep Hoops since 2018.
Duvalier is a long-time staple of Colorado basketball. He attended George Washington from 2006-2009, went on to the University of Northern Colorado, and received his degree in Broadcasting and Telecommunications.
Since then, he has covered the Denver Nuggets and the University of Colorado for Mile High Sports and DNVR Sports.
Duvalier has been the lead writer for Prep Hoops Colorado for multiple years with year-long coverage and has been vital to the rebrand of the state’s outlook with over 800 articles written in only three years.
At Prep Hoops Colorado, his responsibilities included scouting and evaluating players in which he has helped countless DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, and Juco student-athletes be recruited to the next level.
He now joins a super team alongside Senior Editor Anthony Garcia and Editor in Chief Jared Nelson that will help strengthen the Prep Network brand.
Through research, consumer trends, and working alongside the digital media team and scouts across the company, he will help develop content strategies to help enrichen the brand and provide engaging content across the country.
