Minneapolis — The Events Team announced this week that they’ve hired Matt Wiitala as the newest Event Operations Manager.
Matt, a Mountain Iron, Minnesota-native, brings with him over a decade of experience working in youth sports. Most recently, he’s programmed youth recreational programs, tournaments and events for the Minnetonka School District as well as the city of Shoreview. He graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and was a member of the football team.
At Prep Network, Matt will touch all aspects of Event Operations, working to secure facilities, plan, staff, ship, and execute events throughout the year.
Matt currently resides in Maple Grove, Minnesota with his son Ben and daughter Laura.
