Minneapolis — Prep Network announced the addition of Lu Xia this week, filling the role of Manager of Accounting. In her role, Lu will work out of the Twin Cities office and will oversee all company accounting and financial reporting, working closely with HR and leadership to prepare accounting reports pertaining to all aspects of the business. She brings over 20 years of accounting experience, having worked in investment, insurance, financial banking, and retail industries.
“Lu’s extensive accounting experience across a variety of industries is a tremendous asset for Prep Network,” Co-Founder and CEO Jake Phillips said. “In addition to day-to-day accounting responsibilities, Lu will work closely with company leadership providing forecasting, financial analysis, and monthly reporting.”
Lu graduated from St. Cloud State University with an accounting major and currently holds CPA (inactive) license. Lu and her husband live in Chaska, MN with their two children.
“Her work ethic and attention to detail are already making an impact and I look forward to watching her grow into a larger role over time,” Phillips added.
