Prep Network unveils football-coverage arm, Prep Redzone

Prep Network announced its newest network of websites this week, launching Prep Redzone Illinois. In addition to the launch, NorthstarFootballNews.com in Minnesota was rebranded as Prep Redzone Minnesota and added to the new site.

Jake Lemming has led the launch efforts out of Illinois, joining a deep team of contributors in Minnesota including Oliver West, Brian Jerzak, Nate Wahl, and more.

“Launching Prep Redzone is a big moment for Prep Network because it gives us the chance to extend our hyper-local coverage to the football world,” Jake Phillips said.
He made clear the plans for continued expansion of the Prep Redzone network in the coming weeks and months as well. Numerous sites are likely to be ready for the anticipated high school football kickoff this fall. True to Prep Network form, the sites won’t rest when the season is over — the coverage will continue in the offseason with recruiting news, 7-on-7 analysis, and year-round player evaluations.

“As we expand we’re staying true to the Prep Network model. Our scouts are dedicated to covering more than just D-I athletes, and provide opportunities for D-II, D-III, NAIA, and JUCO athletes as well,” Phillips added.

The Prep Redzone addition brings Prep Network’s total sites to 75.
