Prep Network has formalized the role of Anthony Garcia, naming him Senior Editor this week.
Garcia, 25, first began with the company in 2016 as a contributor for Prep Hoops Ohio, contributing out of the Toledo area. He was instrumental in building that site up to what it is today – one of the biggest in the network. For the better part of the past year, Garcia has taken a role assisting Jared Nelson with managing contributors throughout the country, monitoring coverage, amplifying content, and onboarding prospective writers.
The announcement comes as the Web Team further solidifies their structure and cements Garcia alongside newly-titled Editor In Chief Jared Nelson. The two of them will manage all of Prep Network’s 150+ contributors and take responsibility for the nearly 2,000 articles published each month.
“As our network continues to grow to include more sports and regions, I look forward to seeing Anthony’s role to grow with us,” Phillips added.
