Prep Network announced this week that Mason Asher has joined the team in a full-time capacity as the Prep Girls Hoops Events Manager.
Asher began his career with Prep Network in 2015 as a student at Wabash College in Indiana, contributing to Prep Hoops Indiana under the tutelage of Eric Gardner.
Early in 2019, Asher relocated to Ames, Iowa and took the reins of the Prep Girls Hoops Iowa as the senior contributor. Since the move, PGH Iowa has seen tremendous growth and an increased brand presence throughout the Hawkeye state.
In taking on his new full-time role, Asher will remain at the helm of Prep Girls Hoops Iowa. His presence throughout the midwest will grow as Asher executes girls’ tournaments and showcases, leaning on the relationships and network he’s developed in the high school girls basketball space.
“We couldn’t be more excited to expand Mason’s role with Prep Network,” CEO Jake Phillips said.
“Working as a contributor the past few years Mason has added tremendous value for players and club programs, and in the process established himself as a trusted source in the girl’s basketball community,” he added.
“We look forward to combining Mason’s strong network and work ethic with our seasoned event operations team to produce first-class tournaments and showcases across the country.”
